Vaccines available onsite at the pharmacy

Shingrix (shingles vaccine)
This is a 2 part vaccine given 2-6 months apart.  It is generally approved for those 50 years old and over.  It is over 90 percent effective after the second dose.  This vaccine is covered by private insurance and copays vary.  Check with our staff for copay questions.

Pneumonia Vaccine
There is a new pneumonia vaccine out in 2022 and the guidelines have changed.  Check with one of our pharmacists to see if you need a pneumonia vaccine

Tdap/Boostrix
This vaccine is for whooping cough (pertussis), tetanus and diptheria.   It is suggested that the tetanus booster should be given every 10 years.  The pertussis component is especially important for those who will be around newborn babies.

Other forms of Flu vaccine
We will also carry egg free, preservative free and intranasal flu vaccine this year.

RSV Vaccine
This is a one time only vaccine to prevent adult RSV
